Mia & Khloe
I’d like to introduce you to my girls, Mia and Khloe, otherwise known as Trouble and Double Trouble. Only Kidding – well, maybe not. I do after all walk them almost everyday, pick up their you-know-what and clean their feet, so they don’t track dirt all over my house. This list could go on and on…
What do I get in return from these two silky, little King Charles Spaniels – love. Endless and unconditional love. Whether I’m gone for ten days, or just ten minutes, they’re always at the door with wagging tails to greet me. They never leave my side and comfort me when I’m down. Keep me company when I’m alone and make me laugh when I’m sad. I guess I need them as much as they need me.
The grandchildren love them too…
But most of all they love each other…

Very cute – all of them!
Beautiful!! And I’m not going to show these images to my husband as he has frequently bee starting conversations that start with “if we had a dog…”. It’s not that I don’t want one, I just know that right now for our lifestyle it would be almost impossible to have one due to travels, long days at work etc.
I totally understand… They are a lot of work and I hate leaving them when I travel.
Adorable
Gorgeous girls Maggie, we are lucky we get to share our lives with animals
goodness, they are so cute! i want a puppy BUT i like my freedoms and lack of let dog in, let dog out. when i want a nap, i take a nap. when i want to go away, spur of the moment, i go. your two are super cute!!
I totally get it!
I was going to say how cute those doggies are–until I saw your grandchildren; they definitely win the cuteness contest! But they all look so lovable, Maggie. I like your agenda too, so funny, though there’s probably truth in that jest. Enjoy your day! ~ Lily
My dog adores me because he views me as his meal ticket.
Wow, I never thought of that, maybe thats why my dogs like me so much too…
Cuteness factor – off the charts for the children and the puppies!
I love the sign and am going to get one of these for myself. Khloe is the best ‘sitter’ I’ve ever seen π
I knew you’d like the sign π
Precious babies! And man can I relate to you sign! That really made me laugh! lol. btw….I have the same rug that your pup is “basking” on….small world? π

Oh, Maggie, I’m so envious! They are absolutely adorable. So are your grandchildren. Khloe sitting *is* very funny. … Thanks for a post to warm my heart tonight. π
They are too divine and I know just what you mean by double trouble – my girls too invented new versions of the twosome act! Despite that (which has become a little better as they get older, or is it that I know them better and am able to intervene before they’re up to too many tricks?) I do think it’s good to have two dogs together, they really do entertain each other, and keep each other company in ways they can’t get from us. Gorgeous pictures, Maggie π
What a lovely, lovely post, Maggie! All your hard work definitely pays off. They look like wonderful companions. π
Maggie, this is a great post. I loved the photos, and the pups are as cute as can be. I especially loved the ones with the kids and the pups. Adorable!
