Here are some of the shots that didn’t make the magazine:
There is a small guest house over the garage
looking down into the living room from an open hall leading to the bedrooms
My friend Marita made the cupcakes
All you can see from the patio is mountains, water and boats
The perfect look-out place
What makes this house special? Location, location, location.
Now wasn’t my choice much nicer?

Thank you, Naomi
Love all of these girl. All so homey looking. A big Welcome mat out
You are always so supportive thanks, Delilah.
I love the details shown in your choices! Thanks for sharing the extras:)
I did it especially for you
Thanks so much….I LOVE details!!
I am coming over for tea….
You’re welcome anytime
they may have you do the layouts for the magazine!
They should. I obviously have a better eye
I love your choices….but the magazine layout rocks, too!
Thanks… I’m happy
These are fabulous pictures. You have such a gorgeous house and fabulous taste. I actually all of the photos are wonderful, but I know what it’s like when you have a specific expectation.
You’re right… I guess I was just surprised by their choices. Nothing really to get upset about, after all that magazine is next weeks trash.
Ha ha, well, these images are beautiful too! And what I meant by my comment to your previous post was that I FEEL YOU, it’s just easy to be way to self-critical to yourself Happy 1st of May!
I knew that’s what you meant and thanks!
I’d love to have that patio, but then, you know how lucky you are. Who needs magazines?
lovely, cozy!! it is special, beacause it is home!!
That’s right, Debbie. Thanks!
Beautiful photos, and a beautiful home !!
These are wonderful, Maggie. I also have some of those green glass balls with the rope around them (i’m not sure of their correct name – they may be buoys) and I just love them!
Mine are really old. I found them down in my father-in-law’s boathouse. I don’t think they make them in glass anymore, just plastic. Thanks, Dianne!
Your house is lovely and the view spectacular! The magazine should have included pictures of the view from your house. However, their pictures of the house are quite nice
…..so fresh and bright…..love it!
Valuable info. Fortunate me I discovered your web site accidentally, and I am shocked why this accident did not
happened in advance! I bookmarked it.
Wow, a beautiful home and truly scenic location! Lucky you, Maggie, I hope you’re happy in my home country.
